Steps of Faith~2st Sunday in Feburary

Ex. 34:29-35: Moses face shone, the people were afraid. so a veil was put over it.

Ps. 99: Moses, Aaron & Samuel called upon his name and he answered them. 

2 Cor. 3:12-4:2: Moses' face was covered with a veil because of the glory of God shone on his face.

Luke 9:28-36, 37-43: Jesus' countenance was altered and his clothes was white and glittering; this is my beloved son, hear him.(Moses met with Jesus)

After Moses was on the mountain with God, his face shone. This made the people afraid, so Moses wore a veil over his face when he spoke with the people(Ex. 34:29-35; Ps. 99; 2 Cor. 3:12-4:2).

When Jesus met with Moses and Elias, his countenance altered and his clothes became white and glittered. Moses & Elias also appeared in glory(Luke 9:28-36, 37-43). 

Challenge: Do we spend enough time with the Lord that others can see God shine through us? If you are not already doing it, this week strive to spend more time with Jesus in His Word (Bible), and in prayer.
