Comforting hugs 15

"The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be a contrite spirit"  (Ps. 34:18).

"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in his shall not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Have you ever felt as though your heart had broke into pieces? Then someone came along and took those pieces and cut them into more pieces, and then someone else took those pieces and cut them into more pieces and so on and so forth until you feel as if you pulled back your armor to reveal your heart it would look like hamburger?

Was the death of a loved one what started to break your heart? God the Father understands. For His heart was broken when His son, Jesus died on the cross for all mankind. Over the years people continues to cut his heart into pieces when they don't except His love or son.

God is also all powerful and can heal that broken heat of yours if you are willing to take it to him and allow him to put the pieces back together. And if it is broken into too many pieces, He will give you a new one. For God is love, but he will not force His love on you. You have to go to Him and ask Him. Won't you come to Him today bringing the broken pieces of your heart, dreams and life? He is waiting for you. The next step is yours, my friend.

Comforting hugs 14

" The Lord will destroy the veil of sadness that covers all the nations. He will destroy...gloom...and shallow up death forever. The Lord and King will wipe away...tears from ...face"( Isaiah 25:6-8 NIV Reader).

When we are in the mist of our overpowering grief, we often wonder if we will feel this way forever. The verse above tells us, NO".

We experience sadness because death separates us from our loved on this earth. That happens,  because we live under the veil of sadness as long as we live here on earth.  But I have good news!

There is a day coming when  the Lord Jesus will roll back that veil of sadness and replace it with hope, peace and joy! The Bible promises, " God will wipe away every tear from their eyes" (Rev. 7:17b).

This promise is for you, look for it, seek it. Until then, reach out and grab the hand that knows the way through this valley~ Jesus.
