Climbing Higher~ 4th Sunday after Pentecost(Father's day in USA)

1 Sam. 15:34-16:13: King Saul dies. God sends Samuel to Jessie's house to anoint a new king. That king ended up being Jesse's youngest son, David.

Ps. 20 or 72: God saves his anointed.:God shall judge all peoples.

Cor. 5:6-10(11-13)14-17: We serve the Lord faithfully for we walk by faith and not by sight. We may loose our lives because of this. but we will still faithfully serve Him so that we will one day stand before the judgment seat of God. If any man be in Christ he is a new creature.

Mark 4:26-34:The Kingdom of God is like a seed that is planted and grows, because God grew it.

Just like God looked after Israel (1 Sam. 15:34-16:13). He also looks after those who are in the Kingdom of God (Mark 4:26-34). Because God will judge us all one day (Ps. 72), we should faithfully serve him in that Kingdom (2 Cor. 5:6-10(11-13)14-17). When we do so God will save us (Ps. 20).

Challenge of the week:
Let us work hard to serve God in His Kingdom. Let us be faithful in bringing others into that God's Kingdom no matter the cost. For if we are faithful he will reward us.

Accomplishment of the week:

So how did you do? What were the challenges? How did you overcome those challenges?
