Acts 1:1-11: Jesus' followers obeyed Jesus and stayed in Jerusalem & on the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit came upon the people.
Ps.47: All the people clap your hands, shout & sing unto the Lord for he sits on the throne of righteousness.
Eph.1:15-23:Paul rejoiced in the testimony of the Ephesians, the power of the Holy spirit upon them. Then he posted his prayer for them.
Luke 24:44-53: Jesus speaks to his followers before he leaves and tells them that what he did fulfilled that which was written in the laws of Moses, the prophets, Palms and even his own words. then he goes on to tell them to go and tell others of these great things. He also tells them that he will send the promise of the Holy Spirit to them. so stay there and wait for it.
We read of the prophecy of Jesus sitting on his throne of righteousness in Psalms 47. Before Jesus ascended into heaven where he would sit upon his throne of righteousness he spoke to his followers telling them to stay in Jerusalem so that they could receive the power of the Holy Spirit(Luke 24:44-53). Jesus followers obeyed Jesus and stayed in Jerusalem and on the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit came upon them. then Peter stood up and preached unto all who were there (Acts 1:1-11). Later, after Paul had taken the Good News of Jesus to the Ephesians and they had accepted Jesus, he had heard great things from others of the great things that they were doing for the Lord. He rejoiced in the Lord when he prayed for them (Ephesians 1:15-23). We too should spread the Good News of what Jesus did to save mankind.
